How Film Study Works for Coaches

Stop spending hours scrubbing through raw sideline and endzone film. Restoration runs today — level normalisation, deblocking, denoise and sharpening — along with film diagnosis that grades what you actually uploaded and a field mask that isolates the playing surface. Automatic play detection, tracking and annotation are in active development.

Coaches get more time on the field teaching schemes instead of editing video. Restoration is measured against a known-truth round trip rather than asserted: SSIM 0.86 → 0.97 and PSNR 21.2 → 33.4 dB. Diagnosis also catches film that was upscaled before you got it — it flagged a 540p master sold as 1080p.

FOR THE COACH

What it delivers in practice

Staffs work 75-hour weeks and roughly 14 of them on film. Restoration is scored on a round trip where the truth is known — SSIM 0.86 to 0.97 — rather than asserted.
