Alley fit
What it is
The safety's run responsibility in the space between the box and the sideline.
Why it matters
The alley is where a run that survives the front gets decided, and the safety filling it is usually the last defender with an angle. He has to arrive inside-out with outside leverage — a safety who over-runs the alley turns a six-yard gain into a touchdown. This fit is the reason quarters is played against run-heavy spread teams at all.

A two-high shell that plays like an eight-man front once the safeties read number two. The alignment comes from the engine’s own front resolver against real offensive splits, so it is a picture the simulator genuinely produces — not a diagram drawn to make a point.
