Double team

What it is
Two blockers stay on one defender for the duration of the block.
Why it matters
Distinct from a combo: a double team is a commitment by both linemen to displace one defender vertically. Used when moving a nose off the ball matters more than reaching a linebacker.
Also called
Programs call this deuce or post and drive. The Coach answers to any of them.
